Stealing is the wrong word!

You may USE whatever you find, with one
exception ...

At the bottom of the current page (last updated
6 January 2000), you will see a link and
Javascript code for a remotely-hosted tracker.

Obviously, you will not copy that!

Previous versions of this page had links to two
other other tracking scripts which I have been
evaluating.

I have prepared some tutorial material on
trackers and access logs which I shall introduce
in the next few weeks.

As far as the rest of the home page is
concerned, the main design element is a fairly
long <style> tag. Most web authors put styles
into external cascading style sheets, which
means that people using ACCMAIL methods don't
get them, and so do not see the page as the
author intended.

All the other pages on the site are mailing list
archive messages. For those, I have used an
external style sheet, as I assumed that nobody
will use ACCMAIL methods to obtain individual
archive pages.
