What constitutes the Transgendered comnumity?

Anyone who is T obviously, but also Significant Others (SOs), friends, families, and our allies in the fight for equality and fair treatment also qualify.

I'm not transgendered but I'm having problems with online harassment/landsharks.

File a report we'll be glad to help you out!  Our primary interests are to help the T-community, but our personal interest is to fight online harassment and hunt down landsharks.  So whether you're gay, straight, male, or female, it doesn't to us.

What is a Landshark?

A Landshark is anyone who makes uninvited/unwanted advances of a sexual nature.  If you have recieved an unsolicited request for a date or for sexual favors either in a chatroom, on a message board, or via email, then report it here.

What constitutes harassment?

If someone persists in doing something that you have requested them not to, it probably qualifies.  More specifically, this can include flaming, name-calling, threats, posting of lewd, rude, or obnoxious posts or images, and repeated requests for dates or sexual favors.  If you feel like you are being targeted and someone will not take "no" or "go away" for an answer, it is harassment.  Please report such incidents here.

What is an ISP#?

An ISP# is a ten digit number used to track individuals.  It is provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and allows them to identify their customers' accounts.  Some ISPs provide a variable ISP# which changes every time you dial up.  Only your ISP can use the number to identify who you are (so don't worry too much about a security hazard).

Why do you need a suspect's ISP#?

By providing a suspect's ISP# it enables us to identify who their ISP is, not their identity.  Having done so, we can then pass on the relevant information to the suspect's ISP so that the company can take appropriate action against their customer.  Without it, there is little we can do.

Couldn't I deal with such an incident myself?

Of course, but it is A) time-consuming, B) pretty boring doing it on your own, and C) you'd deprive you're fellow sisters and brothers from having the opportunity to compile and view a list of internet predators.
