The TG Marshals Service really began as a one woman operation with Elvira (Mistress of the Darkness), the self-proclaimed Marshal of the Susan's Place message board.  Over time, she named four honorary deputies:  Beverly Anne, Vicki O'Shea, Mary Lou, and Louise.

Mid-1999, in response to lewd offers found in her inbox, Vicki created the Anti-Landsharks Critical
Response Team (ALSCRT) in order to warn other T-folk of potential predators, prowling the internet in
search of a date.  The team was comprised of the five original deputies and primarily only serviced the
girls at the Susan's Place message board.

In February and March of 2000, two of the original deputies, Elvira and Vicki O'Shea were named as
moderators of the message board at Susan's Place, thus expanding their role into compliance operations.
Concurrently, another of the former deputies, Mary Lou, was being harassed by an anonymous poster on
her message board.  Elvira and Vicki stepped in to bring an end to problem.  This lead to the realization
that services needed to be expanded in order to provide protection to all Transgendered people on the net.

The end result was the creation of the TG Marshals Service, which would combine the compliance duties
associated with moderating message boards and chat rooms, and the enforcement duties of the ALSCRT
being extended to help fight harassment, and provide them to all T-people on the net.

The mission of the TG Marshals Service is to provide full-coverage services to Transgendered websites, message boards, and chatrooms, with an emphasis on individual/personal websites.

Our goal is to lead the fight against hate crimes committed via the internet, as well as exterminating the
T-infatuated landshark population.
