Samurai Beach and other matters....

All was well and the Annual Samurai Beach Carnival went ahead.
They were also known as : The Nude Olympics and were opened in style, by our very own River Island Platypus.

A Sydney Naturist believes ..........

More clubs and organisations in N S W should become affiliated with the ANF (Australian Nudist Federation).
More public transport to Middle Heads at weekends would give people the opportunity to enjoy the nudist beaches.
At least two more clothes-optional beaches in the very south of Sydney would give naturists who live there the same opportunity to enjoy this recreation as those who live in the Eastern and Northern suburbs.
Nudist is an honest way to describe us but if naturist is used in the rest of the world then let's be naturists.
It was very pleasing to see Australia featured in a 20 page article in Nude and Natural, the USA magazine some time ago.
It was good to see an article in Sydney's Sun-Herald, 16/1/2000, on the benefits of becoming a nudist.
Bob Reed, President of the NSW Free Beach Association did a good job speaking on ABC 702 Sydney radio.
AND...being interviewed for TV news at the Sun State Fun Run, held 23/4/2000, Sun Leisure Nature Resort.
Bob SHOULD have run with the Olympic Torch somewhere in NSW in the tradition of the original Olympic games, nude.
Maroubra Beach could be a good venue for the next Nude Surf Night, during the Sydney Fringe Festival, if, once again, Bondi cannot be used.

A group of Sydney-siders took the plunge and skinny dipped to raise money for The Fred Hollows Foundation.!

All you have to do is encourage friends, family and work colleagues to sponsor you to take part in the '4th Annual sponsored Skinnydip for Charity' if it takes place this year. Keep an eye out for announcements, with all proceeds going to The Fred Hollows Foundation.
