It is ironic that I set this forum up, some time ago, when I still had another ISP and email address and am currently having trouble with access.
Please consider the following:
At the recent AGM of the ANF the matter of the time of year when the Annual Convention is held, was raised. The ANF has a number of Associated/Affiliated organisations, some of which are nudist resorts and B.&Bs..The ANF Conventions (There have been 34 so far.) are traditionally held from the last days of the year (arrivals commencing 27 Dec.) into the first 8 days of the next year.
Because this is the busiest time of year for the managers of (associated-) resorts and B.&B.s, they are unable to attend. Holding the conventions at this time of year, of course also take nudists away from their 'textile'-relatives, who may not wish to come and join them at a nudist venue.
On the other hand, many nudists have, for many years, enjoyed these annual reunions at the nudist clubs and have enjoyed seeing in the new year together like this. The AGM itself is usually held for one day (30 December) during the convention, attended by delegates from affiliated organisations.

Currently there are no plans for a change but there is an awareness that not everyone who would be interested in attending, can do so.
