"Showtime"
Writer's note: The play that's been alluded to on this page has its world premier this Friday, August 4 at 7:00 PM. Shows will continue the following day at 2:00PM and 7:00 PM, and at the same three times the next weekend at Watts Hall in Thomaston, Maine. The following is the blurb that I'd been asked to write for the program, as co-writer and co-director with Kal-El Bogdonove. It can be summed up in one word, this entire, broad, mind-and-body wrenching project: prelude. An incredible collaboration between over a dozen very talented people, The Moving Target's sophomore play, Till Death Does Her Part, is a puree of hard work, tension, good times and luck. Many of you thrilled to our first play, I Suppose You're All Wondering. This summer's undertaking cubed that piece in every respect, with ten-fold improvements in some areas. Great things will come from a large number of the people you see on and off this stage, and I have a pet theory that our project will help these future accomplishments to the surface.... ...This was worth losing sleep, and getting sick for. This was worth all the tears, and all the joy. This is what you are supporting. These are the faces of the generation that you wanted to see. We're here, tonight, for you, and we've done it. This is the prelude. Archive: :Archive About the S.T.P.
