The two original founding members of the band were Andy Lake and Lee Meyers and the name of the band was "Dangerous Hobos", but that name was dropped, mainly because it sounded like Dangerous Homos, after much deliberation they settled on the name "Some Assembly Required". The name was created by joining the creativity of Andy and Lee. Shortly thereafter "Ervile" was brought in as the guitarist, both Ryan and James were allowed into the band at a later time.Lee quit the band because was generally annoyed by James. "Ervile" was kicked out of the band because it was decided he was too uptight to ever relax and just have fun while playing music. For a while, things were going well. Then the band got its first "gig", to play at school just before a lipsinc. They started to practice alot, but the still didn't have a drummer, out of desperation Anthony Sutter was recriuted as the band's drummer. My sources tell me that although Anthony was a pretty good drummer, James quickly made sure that all the drum beats, for the songs they planned to play at the "concert", were dumbed down because he was worried that Anthony would screw up and embarass him. James and Ryan were practicing every weekend, often times without Andy, James seemed to make a habbit of changing the bass lines without informing Andy, then when Andy could practice with everybody thats when James would tell him about the changed bass lines. After this process was repeated several times Andy decided that he was fed up with all this bullshit and made the decision to leave the band after their concert at school. However I am told that James and Ryan sped this along by telling Andy that "if he wanted to he could leave the band". Adding Insult to injury James asked Andy to pretend to play his bass while it would be really be James playing the bass parts. Andy decided that this wasn't going to happen so he just quit, however he agreed to videotape the concert at school. The concert day came, it was supposed to start at 6pm, but due to the fact that no one had showed up,it was put off until 7pm. All in all there were no more than 20 or 25 people there. Overall the "concert" was disapointing, most of the 2 of the songs were covers, and all but one of the 4 "original" songs sounded like clones of other songs, the one that comes to mind is "Billy's Song" which is basically Blink-182's "Adams Song" with different lyrics. The rest of what Ryan said in the Band Profile section is for mostly correct. I just wanted to point out that James and Ryan are not the founders of the band. I'm tired now so goodnight, or something like that...
