Okay. So they no longer have their lead singer and bassist (Roger Waters), and they were all into drugs, and so on, but you've got to say something about an almost 30 year old band that is still being listened to (Even by people who weren't alive 30 years ago), and still making music (Either solo or as a a band without Waters). This band, their surreal music, and even stranger lyrics, has held up through the decades for plenty of reasons, while 30 years from now I doubt that Limp Bizkit will still be listened to and considered a "classic" band.

Why the Floyd Boys are my favorite band? I grew up listening to classic rock because of my dad, and as I eventually gained my own self rather then going with the crowd in music (from the ages of about 11 to 15 or so, every kid is a conformist), I listened to the famed classic rock station myself, and began to separate the bands, recognize songs by name, and so on. When I was 16 I worked with my mom, 40 hours a week during the summer, and that classic rock station was the only one to get through to the crappy radio on the desk I used.

I'm an artist (well, student artist), and I usually paint in a surrealist style, so the words and music of Pink Floyd seemed to fit my style perfectly. For art class once, I even did a CD cover for Pink Floyd (which I would have had scanned, but it was stolen...the bastards).

Anyway...enough about my own reasons. Here's some facts on the Floyd Boys:
