Week in Preview

This is a cop-out entry. It's already late Monday night as I type this, and I have to get back on track already. Which is going to be tough enough considering all the stuff I'm about to tell you about. So, here's this week's schedule:

SUNDAY

Nothing in particular, except preparing for all the deadlines to be listed below.

MONDAY
The Fast of Esther

No eating. Purim starts tonight, so go hear the whole Megillah read, missing my Philosophy class in the process. A pity, as this is the night he's supposed to go through the argument from Religious Experience, which I really wanted to be there for, as I have strong reason to believe that I'd have a few objections to make. Oh, well.

TUESDAY
Purim

The game plan: Get up early, hear the Megillah again, go to my English class, for which I have to do some reading and writing, then head back to the rest of the family in Far Rockaway for the remainder of the day.

WEDNESDAY
Shushan Purim

Back to the usual grind. Which in this case means my literature survey course, for which I have to read a whole lot of the Faerie Queene.

THURSDAY

English 399 again; more reading and writing on Marx, I think. And my depiction of "dance" for my art class, which I'll probably be up late working on all Wednesday night. Followed by putting together two sections for the student paper.

FRIDAY

The deadline for the English Department's annual writing contest. I really, really want to scrounge together a couple of decent entries, for at least three reasons:

1) I'm a defending champion.
2) I'd really like to revise a couple of pieces I've written.
3) I could really use the money.

'Course, this leaves me with a lack of time again, given everything else.

SATURDAY

And on the seventh day, I rest. Thank God.
