No one has visited this site for quite some time now, so I thought, let's post a new message!

I was thinking of the following subject: campaigns. I, for one, have my own campaign in which I integrated the night below campaign. It is called dark Earth and it was there before the computer and boardgame with the same names.

Dark earth isn't your ordinary world. it used to be a comet but it had a lot of mass. it starteed pulling debris towards it that began to cycle the comet in ever growing masses till a outside layer took form. That is how the dark earth came into excistence. the original comet became the source of the first lives on the planet. Covered in total darkness by the outer shell, this meaned that most creatures, drawn from different planes through portals, became pale and blind very quickly because of evolution. Many races couldn't excist in the total darkness but some, mainly a smaller breed of dark dragons and mirror creatures (those are creatures that live on reflecting surfaces from which they draw their strentgh), kept living. The outer shell was were most of the other races took their places. The dragons were there first and, supported by the evil god Salamon, who created the atmosphere, they thrived. The lesser races, humans, elves, etc., came through portals initially. portals created by Salamon, but after their arival, they had to evolve on their own.

Time went by and Salamon ruled. No one opposed him and his power grew. That is when a few (eleven) well known Gods like Zeus and Odin took notice and decided that this couldn't go on. The searched for a wise man among the human race and discovered a man named Drun. They took him on a journey through time and tested him in agonizing ways, like slowing time by a thousand times and letting him relive history a few times over. After a very lentghy test, in which he had to stop himself from shattering an object of magnificant power, the eleven Gods made him a God. God of All was his name but he prefered to just be called Drun. some say, that he had to much human interest to make a good God, but, with granted powers of the eleven classical Gods, he managed to start opposing Salamon. Drun works behind the masks of the eleven Gods. No inhabitant of Dark Earth knows that he excists. The priests on the world worship the eleven gods and they give him the power to grant spells to the priests. Actually, there are people who know that he excists. His high priets know of him as do a few chosen, mainly the Council of Twelve, named the Red Robe Organisation, a group of time travellers and manipulators led by a rogue Avatar named Obu, Hamar the Paradox, the Six, a Demi God named Sha-Fo and just maybe a handful of others. Obu is actually Drun's own, and first Avatar, but he lost control over it and it separated from him, taking all knowledge of his excistence with him.
the council of twelve is quite unique. it consists of the following members;
