I can't believe this site has been active for this long.
This weekend my group is meeting to start "The Night Below."

I'm the DM. I have four players. Three have been playing with me for many years. One is a newcomer to the game, but she shows promise in the limited experience she's had (mostly in playing minor NPC's).

Each will have one 1st level PC. I have:
Human Fighter
Human Combat Mage (basically a fighter/mage)
Human Battle Priest (basically a fighter/priest)
Elven Thief

We're playing a hybrid of all the editions of the rulebooks, though I primarily use 2e.

I imagine I'm going to have to fudge a bit if I expect these four to survive. They'll probably need a great deal of help from the rangers.

Anyway, I'll try to remember to check back here from time to time. There is some good advice on this board and I might have some questions later on.

By the way, the weekend game will be a marathon session. I'm hoping to complete all of Book 1 before the weekend is through.
