My group has finally arrived at the point where they will be attacking Shaboath. They've allied with the Illithids and they have several Derro savants they "convinced" to come along.

I've been going over the city converting things to 3rd Edition. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle all the monsters in the city. Any suggestions?

I might try 3x5 cards to track monsters and some sort of system to keep track of where they are in the city, if they're on the move or doing something else.

Any stories on how other groups attacked the city? Any clever tactics you dreamt up to thwart the players?
