Finally someone who has reached the Great Shaboath. My party has currently sucked the power out of the Necromancy tower and is trying to do the same to the tower of enchantments. they realize that this might be the most powerful tower but they chose this one because they have enough magic from the opposite school. We have been playing for nearly 5 years now of which 1 year has been spend in the great shaboath.
My party consists of the following party members:
Gomar Vaskar, a 12th Level Dwarven Fighter
Happollo Zilverslang (which means Silversnake), a 15th level Elven Thief
Nonvai Desivo, a 12th Level Gnome Illusionist/12th level Thief
Sir Rusting Chain (Yes, it is a strange name but he is a respected fellow), a Half-Elven 12th Level Fighter
Usly Basidan, a Half-Elven 12th Level Mage/ 14th Level Priest
Walter B Memory, a Dwarven 11th Level Fighter/ 11th Level Priest
Note that we have slightly different rules towards multy-classed characters.
The higher levels are explaines by a LOT of side adventures. We think, that if we had never put these in, we would have gotten bored with the adventure. I should note that even though they are high levelled, they are still having e VERY difficult time. Maybe because I made the Great Shaboath even a little harder.
My characters made it through the front gate. At that point they had the help of Shazurita (from the illithids on the shore), Darvador Zilverslang (a half brother of Hapollo Zilverslang) and the Tanar'ri (which of course cheated them very badly when they met the Baatezu). Shasurita is now dead, having fallen to the curse of the gems from the island of shadows. The other party members had a littlebit of help from a time travelling guy named Obu, so they reversed the process in time. Darvador has gone of on a family business. They, however, gained Krelner.
Currently they have but 6 days left and four towers to go. I don't think they'll make it, but they have amazed me before. They have a backup. They loaded the wand of Mass Teleportation with a Wish Scroll and have about 70 charges left and Alyejare ( I don't have the books with me right now so I don,t now how to spell it) and to rockseer high priest are waiting for them somewhere else so the can get cured regullary.
They bluffed their way into the city with mind cloaking, great speaking skills, pretending to be slavedrivers and a lot of luck (I didn't hand out free tickets here, they really made it in a fair way. They got to the island with the folding boat.
