My players finally finished with Book 2. They made a deal with the Kuo-toa Priest-King's son to allow them safe passage in return for destroying the Sea Mother statute and slaying the Dukes and the Priest-King. They decided to ignore the Shadow Dragon, but I allowed them contact with the Rock-Seers. They're now at the shores of the Sunless Sea and they finally found Jelenneth. Woo hoo! This is where they left off, so I'm off to figure out what's going to happen next.
