So, if you would like to try it, let's talk."

: Actually there -are- a few hints in NB concerning the wider world, much as it's more-or-less designed to be insertible into anything.

: In the beginning, the NB world was NOT created by the Gods. It's more like Earth. The Halfcut Hills have fossils. This means that the world has had evolution both biologically and geologically, for at least 100 million years. So Krynn, for one, is not a potential NB world as written...

: As for the surrounding area, civilisation comes from the west and doesn't seem to be a going concern to the north. To the south there's probably a sinkhole, chasm, or cliff leading to Fandruzsch the shadow dragon.

: It's the east of Haranshire that seems most intriguing. There is some sort of elven forest with humans somehow attached to it. That's also where the fomorians and Broken Ones came from. I even suspect a connexion to the Plane of Shadow: a shadow dragon, tenebrous worms, derro specialties, warped magicks generally...

Thank you for your reply. have I mentioned that I love your site?
My world doesn't have a standard earthlike beginning of existence but I have an explanetion for the the fossils. Civilization in my world lies on the west and south side. On the south side, the thornwood ends in great plains that ultimately lead to a great and ancient mountain range wich was originally inhabited by dwarves. On the plains there now live two lords. An elven lord and a dwarven lord. The elf has a castle that resembles three very big trees connected by great natural wooden walls. The dwarf lives in a ancient castle that remains underground until a lever is pulled. Then it rises slowly to the surface.
West, there lie a few bigger cities a lot of smaller villages. To the east lies the border between Troy (the land wherein Haranshire lies) and Deux, a country living in solitude.
In the north, there is a lot of wilderness.
Fandruzsch doesn't need a sinkhole because his layer connects with a inner world in my campaign. A world surrounded in darkness.
I'll be giving some information that I found on NB later on

Dearest regards,

Aranamarunda
