Well, that is the response I was hoping for. We were there after two years of playing. They weren't even 10th level but got some help of Darafayen. They were with seven total. The first time they entered, they were killed very fast, except for the spellcasters, who, while travveling to the Sunless Sea, escaped with the help of the Rockseers. Having gathered some ears of their mates, they were able to resurrect them and return for a more covered approach, this time with the aid of Darafayen. The most difficulty they had, was in the dome and the palace. i used the Illithids as a constant manace while they were fighting of other opponents. They are VERY powerful. If you want to hav suggestions about the city of the Glass Pool from a DM's perspective, just send me a email or post your questions here.

: I have been DMing Night Below for the past year. The players are finally at the City of the Glass Pool. The Mind Flayers are giving them fits and there's only three of them. I've managed to drive them off twice already. It's tough to do this with 10th level characters. Oh yeah, I'm using 3rd Edition D&D.

: : I have to say: he! There isn't much reply on this list. I myself am not a regular on the net but I expected that an owner of a site would reply quicker to a new candidate who just wants to discuss thing concerning the Night Below. Like: All you tell on your site, Zimri, seemd to be related to the adventure solely. My interest also goes out to how you played through the whole adventure? We have been busy with it for four years now and made a whole campaign around it in my own world, named Dark Earth (it was there before the game and the computer game). We can't play on a regular basis but we have managed to let it blossom into something that I am very proud of: A mature and greatly expended epic adventure. So, if you would like to try it, let's talk.

: : PS: And yes, I saw that the last time someone entered here was a long time ago.
