Story Quest
Ash Ketchum, a trainer known for his battle ability and blundering in capturing Pokemon, was staying in a Hotel outside Viridian City. The Pokemon Leauge had called Brock and Misty back to their Gyms, so Ash decided to chill out in Viridian City for awhile. Maybe he would go train his Pokemon in Viridian Forest tomarrow, but now he was tired. As he lay down to go to bed, he heard a floor board creak. It must be that Team Rocket! Thought the trainer, he strapped on his belt with his Pokeballs on it and woke Pikachu.
"Pikachu, I think there's somebody somewhere in the room...." Ash said looking around. The room was very large and very dark.
"Pika!!!" Pikachu said scardily.
"What Pikachu?" Asked Ash. Pikachu pointed over to a corner where there was nothing.
"There's nothing there, Pikachu!" said Ash.
"Pika! Pika pika pika pika Pika CHU!" Pikachu obviously was very afraid. Suddenly a flash of light and a samuri was standing in the corner Pikachu was afraid of.
"Who are you? What are you doing in here?" Ash demanded. The samuri moved to fast for Ash or Pikachu's eyes to follow but suddenly there was a Pokeball on the ground and there was a flying bug there.
"What's that?" Ash wondered, flipping open his PokeDex.
"Scyther, a Bug / Flying Pokemon. This frightening Pokémon seems to have just as much in common with dinosaurs as with bugs. The razor edges on its wings make its Slash attack that much more damaging. It is also called the Ninja Pokemon because of it's ability to make it seem like there are more than one because of its ultra-fast movements." Bleeped the PokeDex.
"Ok then, a battle!" Ash said reaching for a Pokeball of his belt. "Bulbasaur! I Choo..." His words were cut off, and so was his Pokeball. The Scyther had swooped in quickly and knocked it from his hand, bashingit into the wall where the lock broke.
"BULBASAUR!" Ash said. He reached for another ball. "Squirl...." The Scyther repeated the action.
"Charizard, GO!" Ash managed to throw the ball, but it was batted back at him. Ash ducked and it also smashed into the wall. The Scyther was trained for this.
"Pikachu! Use your Thunderbolt!" Ash said. Hoping that his Pokemon alreadyu out would be able to even the score. Pikachu charged at the Scyther
"Pika... CHU!" Pikachu leaped. But to Ash's horror, Pikachu disappeared from sight. A Black Pokeball clamped shut over Pikachu. The Scyther qucikly grabed it and threw it back to the Samuri.
"Pikachu! No! Pidgeotto, go!" Ash said throwing the Pokeball, he managed to get it out before the Scyther could react. "Pidgeotto, Quick Attack!" Then he heard the Samuri speak...
"Scyther, SLASH IT!" The low dark voice scared Ash, but Pidgeotto was on the ground unconsious faster than Ash could blink. It had a bad cut on it's back. This was not good, Ash blacked out. He awoke in a hospital with Professor Oak, Ash's mom, Misty, and Brock looking over him
"What happened?" Ash said.
"We were hoping you could tell us." Professor Oak said. "The hotel attendant found your room trashed, Pokeballs all over the room cut just right so they won't open but the monster is trapped inside, and Pidgeotto fainted on the ground next to you."
"Samuri, with a Scyther. He attacked me. Pikachu, where's Pikachu."
"Calm down now." Professor Oak said. "Pikachu was no where to be found. I thought you must have traded him. I fixed your Pokeballs and Charizard, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur are fine. Pidgeotto is recovering in the Pokemon Center across town. But I'm afraid there are no trace of Pikachu, or this Samuri."
"He appeared out of nowhere. Invisible. He trapped Pikachu in a black Pokeball." Ash said.
The story of a Samuri and a Scyther that is so fast you never get an oppertunity to throw a Pokeball and defend yourself spread like wildfire. Who could this be? Trainers, Rockets, and Police around the world started searching........
