The Rotterdam-based Tocado Records is doing some really nice things. A lot of releases coming up by local bands and here's one too. This time it's Totaal Verlept. (translates into something like: Totally Fucked Up) They are probably the oldest still running dutch hardcore / punkband, starting in 1980. That they didn't grew up listening to Green Day or Biohazard resounds directly into their music. Raw punkcore with Dutch lyrics on two of the three songs.
This isn't really my piece of cake but these guys deserve the break. This 7" is a little warning for their full-length album which will be released soon. That will be their first in the twenty years of existence! After so many years of struggling and hard work they deserve your attention so check it out... One thing though: the black and white photocopied cover might be really punk, but it looks like shit...
