Lately there have been a lot of new dutch bands really surprising me with some original and outstanding releases. And here's another one! Not that Deluge is such a new band, we reviewed a demotape in the paperedition a couple of years ago. But the huge improvement qualitywise these guys made over the years makes me think i'm listening to an entire other band.
Musically they remind me a bit of bands like Shai Hulud and Stretch Arm Strong, especially with their outstanding mix of hard almost metal like parts and more emotional and sometimes more "punky" parts.
