The Shadow and the Downside
To be honest, I never heard of these guys. My loss. They've been around since '95 and this cd shows they all know how to play.
Three of the bandmembers live in Rotterdam, the other two are from Antwerpen in Belgium. Names that come to mind while listening this CD were Biohazard, 59 Times the Pain, Age 9 and Machinehead. The six songs are all pretty asskicking, although I'm not really fond of some of the biohazardinfluences. The chorus of the openingsong "In Need of a New Beginning" sounds like it's straight from State of the World Address or something. But hey who cares as long as it rocks and it does.
