wrote this ages ago and it is only now i look back objectively i realise
that the ending is awful and i need psychological help (it's been suspected
for a while, but this is the proof).
i write funny stories because i find it much easier than trying to sound sincere without sounding umm...schmalzty, to be americanised. the characters are made up, although probably all like me in some way. my english teacher once told me that every story we write is like an autobiography, if that's true...i'm in trouble. oh, the messenger is based on vicky, who likes to fall over, and who i love very much (i have to say that cuz it's true, and cuz it'll stop her breaking every bone in my body).
