Important shit that happened to me lately, in the new year

Okay, this is kinda like a journal, but it's only gonna be important stuff, I'm not gonna crap on about what I had for lunch or what I whacked off to. Unless it's particularly noteworthy.

1-4-2000: Got my permit. Commenced pestering parents for driving practice.

1-8-2000: Bought an Ibanez Soundgear bass. Very sweet.

1-16-2000: Jackie sees pictures of me from Christmas '99 and admits I'm 'adorable'. My day is made.

1-17-2000: I receive fan mail from Ash. Very cool, especially since she sent me, among other things, a picture of her nipple piercings.

2-2000: I played a show at a party with Robert and Matt. This is also landmark because at the show I actually kissed a girl, I kissed Alex between songs just before she left.

3-2000: Met Jess at the Great Mall, and felt her up.

4-1-2000: Went to Jess' junior prom.

5-30-2000: Attained legal majorhood. Attempted to buy cigarettes and pornography at a creepy liquor store. My permit was refused as identification (fuckers).

6-4-2000: Played another gig, this time at Robert's house. Was ignored mostly cos I hardly knew anyone, but had a great time when i actually had something to do or someone to talk to. Got a pity snog from the chick who threw the last party I played at, it was my first, and it was dead good.

6-14-2000: Failed my driving test in Mountain View. Apparently you're supposed to look over your RIGHT shoulder before you pull away from the curb. (Bull fuckin shit. There are only pedestrians back there, if they walk in front of my car, they should be removed from the gene pool for being so fucking stupid). Got my ID card in the mail, bought a losing lottery ticket.
