1. How can a vampire get a stake through the heart and sleep for only a "month or so"?

FAQ Answers:

1. A stake through the heart paralyzes a vampire, but does not destroy him. When the stake is removed, he is back to "normal".

2. A Kindred is a vampire. All vampires are related in bloodline to the original vampire, who is widely believed to have been the biblical Cain.

3. When a vampire Embraces a human and makes them into a new vampire, the new vampire is the responsiblity of their sire, and is called the sire's childe or progeny

4. The Prince's blessing is needed when a vampire wishes to create a new progeny because of the Traditions. there are several of them, one is that the Prince of each city decides who can become a new vampire.

5. The anarchs are those who disregard the Traditions. They are often killed for it.

6. Toreador is one of the clans.

7. the other clans are Nosferatu, Gangrel (Lyness is a Gangrel), Ventrue (the prince is a Ventrue, as is Lucille, as was Bastian), Malkavian (millie is a Malkavian), Brujah (Hyacinth was a Brujah), and Tremere.
