Hey, I don't know if any of you are Amen fans, but the band were recently TOTALLY SCREWED OVER by their record label, Virgin Records. The band completed their third album, only for the label to tell them that they would not release it due to the band not being a 'commercial enough proposition to pursue'.
Virgin then dropped the band, and are refusing to let Amen have their album to release on another label unless they give Virgin $200,000.
Amen could re-record the album but their new record company would have to pay for it to be re-recorded and then pay the $200 000 for the original albums rights from Virgin.
Therefore they have to find a record company willing to take on a band with a $200 000 debt.
This problem could well force Amen to split up.
I, and many other people, do not want to see one of the greatest bands in the world today to be forced to call it a day only because of a money hungry record label.
Not only will it mean the death of Amen, it's also another sign that the worlds music industry is destroying creativity by only caring about record sales and not real innovation or talent.

Even if you aren't an Amen fan, surely you don't agree with money being placed before music...
