History One of Spider-Man's worst enemies, also one of Peter Parker's worst enemies, Venom is the product of an alien symbiote that was first worn on Spiderman, but is now bonded to Eddie Brock, a former Bugle reporter with a grudge against Peter Parker and Spiderman. Venom is dedicated to the destruction of Spiderman. Because the alien symbiote was once part of Spiderman's costume, Venom doesn't trigger Spiderman's spider sense, allowing him to bounce on Spidey without warning. His web talents are equal to Spiderman's, but his other Spider Powers are superior to those of Spiderman, so every battle between them is close!
