History Alistair Smythe is a mad scientist. At one point in time he was a teacher to Peter Parker. But now, the son of Spencer Smythe, who created the first Spider-Slayer, the Blackwidow, Alistair has altered is body via high technology, and constructed for himself a weapon filled battle chair. Believing Spiderman was responsible for his father's death, Alistair joined the Kingpin to get back at Spider-Man. He created his own group of Spider-Slayers, each deadlier than the one his father made. But the untement achivment of Smythe is that when the three Spider-Slayers, the Blackwidow, the Tarantula, and the Scorpian, join together, they create the exterimly powerful, Tri-Spider-Slayer.
