Everyone thinks of Peter Parker as Spiderman, and Spiderman as Peter Parker. Everyone knows most of the very long history and past of the wall-crawler and the man, but what are some of Peter's better, and worst sides? What makes him tick, what makes him mad, what makes him tired?
Everytime he puts on the costume, Peter Parker becomes something different, much more different than who is he normally is. More wise-cracks and humor spouts from his mouth. What about Peter? Well, here's a look at Peter Parker. Not some secret about him, but him, just with all the facts poured into one over-view. Peter as a kid; nerdy, a geek, not to many friend, a guy who only hung out with his aunt and uncle, looked upon a loser. He did his school work, and studied till he got the +'s added to his A's. He didn't work out or try many sports, instead he stayed at home inventing new ideas and creating new fantasies. Peter walked around as a victim, with a target on him. Being used by bullies and punks who needed help with there grades, and being abused by the same people. Nothing changed for Peter till he got his abilities. Which not only allowed him to get out of his victim stage, but also allowed him to fight back. Reguardless of his powers, the fact was, Peter was still a nerd. Still the A+ student that had no friends. Then he gets some nice girls. The girls that are usually taken by the captain of the football team, and the more popular guys. Growing up in college Peter remained with his nerd, geeky status; still creating. After college Peter seemed to grow out of this, still a brilliant and geeky person on the inside, on-lookers just saw him mostly as a normal guy. A skinny guy that's only job was to take pictures for a newspaper. As a man, Peter is driven by his wife, (who as all of you know, is currently half here, half not) and that's why he gets up. But even when he doesn't have his wife, he goes off and does his Spiderman gig. Is it that Peter gets up mainly because of his responsibility of being Spiderman; and may it also be true that Spiderman puts on that costume not just because of responsibility as Spiderman, but as a responsibility of Peter's? His outside appearances fool, and everyone around him does not realize who's presence they are in, but he doesn't get cocky when he is treated like scum, he doesn't yell, "You know, I saved your life once." So Peter as a human is deeper than meets the eye, that's all there is to it.
