First, I would like to say that it is BULLSHIT that Napster should be getting sewed for individuals like me sharing my music with people that like it. For instance, lets say I buy a Metallica CD and record it on a cassette for my friend. He dupes it, and gives it to a few of his friends, who, in turn give it to their friends. That happens all the time, and the beauty of it is, you don't even need a computer to do it! Napster is the same thing, only its over the internet, which is what everybody is starting to play around with nowa-motherfucking-days. I mean, its realistic that I buy the CD first, because how do the MP3s get on Napster anyways? People d/l or buy an encoder and extract the MP3s from a CD! I DO IT ALL THE TIME!
In fact, not only am i listening to napster, but im also downloading a rammstein song from it right now.
I mean, who has enough time on their hands (say someone with a 28.8K or 56K modem) to sit and d/l all of metallica's cds? A FUCKING NERD! I know that I've bought CDs from listening to music on Napster. It prompted me to get the Kottonmouth Kings CD, and the Orgy CD, both in the last month. Theres heaps of other CDs I also plan on buying... of course, when i get the dough. Its also proven that Napster causes MORE record sales, because no one is going to look at a CD and say, I like the look of the CD cover, so I'll buy it. No, people don't do that. They have to hear the music first.
To conclude my page which will be rarely read, I must say, FUCK RIAA, FUCK METALLICA, and FuCK You!
