How do they make more profit from smaller bars, kinky?? If the bars were bigger, then they would just charge more.
It's really annoying and should probably be against some sort of trades descriptions act to put chocolate in a packet that is much bigger than it. By doing this they make it look like you are getting a bigger bar than you actually are. This is very apparent when they put what seems like a normal sized bar of chocolate in a packet that says "15% extra free" or something to that tune. Mabye they should be made to specify what they are giving the consumer 15% more of as it might be just scheme of some smartass in marketing. Now i think of it, there does seem to be about 15% more air and 15% more packaging. Also, the "fun sized" mars bars are sold as a multipack and there definatly seems to be more air than mars bar in the multipack packets.
That proves it then - size really does matter, especially if your paying good money for it.
