Hy-Zaya was born in Louisville, Ky. He has always wanted to be a pro wrestler since a small child. After watching some of the great WCW lightweights and IWA lightweights Hy-Zaya decided to ask American Kickboxer, who made a name for himself in the IWA to train him. With that Hy-Zaya was trained by American Kickboxer and his since became one of IWA's best lightweights. Hy-Zaya was headling shows with his tag partner Richard X when they feuded with Hy-Zaya trainer, American Kickboxer and Suicide Kid. Lately, Hy-Zaya has been plagued with a shoulder injury but says that will not hold him back from getting back to the top.
