Corporal Robinson has been one of the top hardcore wrestlers in IWA Mid-South since his debut for the promotion in early part of 1998. His wars with Ian Rotten have been some of the most brutal matchups ever witnessed whether they occured in IWA Mid-South or in Mid-American Wrestling in Milwaukee, WI area.
Corporal and Ian have been friends and enemies and traded the IWA Mid-South and MAW titles back and forth amongst themselves in matchups ranging from Last Man Standing and Barbed Wire and Cactus in MAW to No Rope Barbed Wire Salt in IWA Mid-South (one of which almost took his life in Salem, IN). Even when friends however, the brutal matchups always seem to find a way to occur. The second thing that Corporal is known for in IWA is for his tag team with Blaze. They started off being hated by the fans as they tried to overtake IWA and make it their own but the fans couldn't boo them for long as they kicked too much ass for the fans not to support them. This tag team though can be on as shaky ground as the friendship between Corporal and Ian. Corporal and Blaze have found themselves involved in quite a few matchups against each other as well. The most memorable being when Blaze helped Bull Pain put Corporal through the Log Cabin of Glass at From Hardcore Hell and Back 2000. The tag team spent the better part of 2000 and beginning of 2001 split up. However, it was a feud with IWA Mid-South newcomer Rugby Thug Trent Baker that got the tag team back together. Corporal took offense to the newcomer's British superiority complex and as a former US Marine, Corp took to the plate to defend IWA and the US' honor. Thug even in defeat however always seemed to find a way to screw over Corporal and leave him the worse for wear. Corporal was finally the victim of a fireball before he decided to call upon his old friend Blaze to help win the war. The tag team of Corporal Robinson and Blaze are now fighting a new war. This war is to determine who is the best tag team in IWA Mid-South history between them and the MMPs of Mean Mitch Page and Mad Man Pondo. Corporal Robinson was the runner up in the King of the Death Matches 2000 to Rollin Hard and must be considered a favorite for taking home the title in 2001. IWA TITLE HISTORIES HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
