STATIONERY/PACKAGING
This is still a relatively untapped Engrish market - the Japanese love
to decorate their
stationery, bags and wrapping paper with some far out
Engrish. Look for more of
this type of Engrish soon.

It is not often that you can find paper
that
contributes its excellence for a new generation!

I never really knew why I loved fruit - it must be that whiff of
oxygen!
Once again, I have to thank Todson and Jennifer Page for
contributing
the above Engrish. Todson writes:
"One interesting tidbit
- that fruit logo was on the outside of a photo
envelope (the kind you get
your pictures in from the photo processing shop).
So not only is it bizarre,
but it was in a totally illogical environment as well."

"Spanking!
By the Sea"
(I don't know about you, but I get all my spankings by the sea)
Fine Print reads:
"The earth consists of the the water of 130,000,000
cubic km.
Then you and I live having 65% of water. We are living with the
earth after all.
Nomadic Inc."
The above plastic pencil case was sent to me
by
Dale Humphrey (I stole the above line from Dale, too).
Dale apologizes
for the poor resolution of the picture.
Week from December 7, 1997:
And all this time the flowers were trying to
tell me so much....
Small print reads:
"The flowers in recollection sing a poem in sepia
color. Time seems to return
to the turn of it's beautiful melody flow. Please
listen to the dream a fresh heart
discloses. Please look at my fresh face.
Please receive it just when you open
your heart. A bouquet to all of you over
the world."

What - a chic town?
Why do they make it so hard to enjoy graceful
time?
Print:
"Please enjoy graceful time of the afternoon
with
the pie of YAMAZAKI in the cafe
terrace
of a chic town."
