The category you scored highest in is your main love style.  Close or tied scores in other categories mean that you also have strong tendencies towards those styles.  Now here's what that says about you:

Eros:  This is the most common "romantic love" stereotype.  It's based on uncertainty (that's what that "butterfly" feeling is all about...), and the problem with it is that it cannot last indefinitely, because the longer you're with the other person, the less uncertainty there is.  It's VERY common in the beginning of a relationship, but over the long run, you'll  probably need something more.

Ludos:  This is game-playing love.  It suits people who don't want commitment, and there are generally 2 types of ludos: sneaky and up-front.  If both partners are up-front about it, there's not really a problem. (ie. "dating around")

Storge:  This is love based on friendship.  It's generally not emotionally intense, but is often the type of love that lasts.  It's like when you've been friends with someone for ages, and then you realize that your  feelings have started to develop into something more.  This is the second most common stereotype.

Pragma:  This is logical/practical love, generally not very emotional, also called "shopping list love."  It's what happens when you love someone because they have all the qualities you want in another person.

Mania:  This is obsessive love. It's a combination of eros and ludos, based on uncertainty.  Manic lovers tend to be jealous and may create problems to "test" the relationship. (ie. "If we get through this, I'll know this person really loves me.")

Agape:  This is self-less love with no strings attached; unconditional.  Supposedly it's more of an ideal than a reality for adult relationships.

If you can get your partner to take this test, compare his/her results to yours.  It's generally good if you both have the same love style -- If you're very different, you're more likely to have conflicts in the relationship.  There is some speculation about whether love styles can change w/ different relationships or w/ time, but it hasn't been researched.  I'd be willing to bet they do change, though.

How did *I* do?  I scored highest in agape (13), followed by eros (11) and mania (10).
