One night my friend and I had a little too much to drink. The Genius decided that she was very agile, and could climb trees with the greatest of ease! I laughed and said, "Do it". So we moved the picnic table under the tree so she could reach the lowest branch (she's only 4'11 tall so she needed that extra boost). Then The Genius grabbed the branch and started to climb. BUT when she put all her weight on the branch, it was very very thin, it snapped!!!
From there she fell and actually BOUNCED on the picnic table and onto the ground and just lay there for a second!! I thought she might be dead, but she was ok. Then she told me that she'd lost her glasses! So we started looking for them. Then I stepped on something......it was half of the glasses; the other half was UNDER the table!!! I believe that it was the impact of the table bounce that broke them!! This could have ended much worse. What if she had made it to the top before she fell? We also thought that her arm may be broken so we checked it out by moving it around. I guess we also though that we had doctor-like abilities!! You know how it is when you're tipsy!
Pretty pathetic when you think about it! (two grown women!) She then had to go inside and explain what had happened to her husband, while she did that I stumbled home!
