George Street's Wildest Police Chases

George Street's Wildest Police Chases

Andy and I had been at a party drinking flat out all night and we decided to take off and hit some bars on George Street. In our search for a bar that would let us in we came across a fire escape in an ally. Seeing as how we weren't getting in any bars we climbed up the ladder and went out on the roof for a look. Before too long we were throwing snowballs at the cars going along below on George Street, pretty childish but we got a charge out of it. The next thing we know the flashlights of two cops are coming towards us.

Andy decided he was going to stay put but I made a run for it. It was down over one wall and up over another for a couple of hundred feet before I came to the last building in the row. It was about a 15-foot drop to the roof of another building and a fire escape but I couldn't bring myself to jump. I hid behind an air conditioner and waited. I saw the cop's flashlight getting closer and closer. He finally got to where I was hiding and found me and dragged me back to the car. When we got back to the car Andy and the other cop were talking and laughing but the cop who chased me was pissed. Andy might have gotten away if it wasn't for me. Later that night Andy and I ended up at another little party; with a couple of old bums, two guys who'd been in a fight and an armed robber - all in the police lockup.
