Randy's girlfriend started going to university a couple of years ago, leaving him home for several weeks at a time. Of course we wasted no time telling him what we thought she was doing in the big city all by herself - getting a strange bit on the side. One day we were all up to Ray's drinking up a storm and again reminding Randy again what his missus was probably doing right now, running it right into the ground like we always do. Anyway I left to get a bite to eat and when I got back Randy was gone. I asked where he went and somebody said he got in a fight with Paul and left. I said "So I guess we finally got his nerves about the missus being in town" and somebody said "No, he didn't care about that. They got in a fight over whether it was better to tar a roof every year or put shingles on it".
