| My God, what's an older woman doing here? Well, since my dreams sometimes feature older women, it might have something to do with powerful archetypes. Or maybe, as Ray Davies (of The Kinks) might say, Maxine is just a "nice bit of old". Either way, I've enjoyed and admired her for her no-nonsence, no prima-donna grandstanding (ala Jana Wendt) interview style on Lateline and the 7.30 Report. And I love it when her lower lip drops. |  |
