In an internal minute dated 25 August 2000 by the Assisstant General Manager, Client and Community Branch, She advised:

"that there are 31,500 cases where payers accounts shown they have not paid enough and 4,500 cases where payers have paid too much.In one third of these cases the difference is between a credit of $10 and a debitof $10. In a further third,the difference is less then $50. In a small percentage of cases the difference is greater then $500. The total amount involved is approximateley $2.5 million.

I have decided that we will no longer make adjustements to these accounts."
