 the first photograph is of Joseph CHEUVRONT b. 4 July 1821 in
Fayette County, PA to Rebecca COVERT. (read about Joseph [5], s/o Caleb Cheuvront and Rebecca Covert on Text page 8.  Information about Caleb and Rebecca are on text p.5)
 
This photo (ca. 1860-70) was inscribed on the front "West Union, WV".  On the BACK is written:  "His mother was a Covert and was full cousin to Jane W H.  Kept a hotel at West Union".
 

Joseph's mother was Rebecca Covert Cheuvront.

"Jane WH" was probably Jane W. Hutchinson, mentioned on the back of an unidentfied photo below.
An unidentified Covert.  On the BACK of this photo is written "Cousin of Jane W. Hutchinson, lived near Browne farm, came from WVa.  Moved to texas".

Perhaps this was a brother or nephew to Rebecca Covert Cheuvront, Joseph's mother.
