I am a Preston researcher. Harriet Preston Cheuvront was daughter of George Preston b. 18 Sept 1799 and George died March 1871 in Harrison Co. WV. George's mother was Sarah Pulley Preston Goss. We don't know who Harriet Preston Cheuvront's mother was since George was a widower when he arrived in Harrison Co. VA/WV in the 1830's with his mother, sisters and his children in tow. My gggg grandmother was Mary Ann Preston Wilkinson sister of George which of course would make her aunt of your Harriet Preston Cheuvront. Harriet's father George remarried in Harrison Co. in the mid 1830's well after Harriet was born. My Question is, do you know the name of Harriet Preston Cheuvront's mother? I have additional info on the siblings of Harriet and the siblings of her father George Preston.
