: : Could someone tell me the location of Joseph Cheuvront's grave? We were in Goodhope, Memorial Day, and found many Cheuvront's, But not Joseph's. We were in the cemetary where Caleb and Charles are buried.
: : My husband is a decendant of Catherine Cheuvront and Thomas Stanley. We live in Ritchie Co. so visiting again soon is not a problem. We just don't know where to go.

: I've just moved to Sun Lakes AZ and my genealogical data is still packed up. As soon as I can get settled here,[bout another 3 months], I'll be able to get the map that shows the general location on side of hill South of the Good Hope Church along the road to Weston. Later, Forrest.
2-21-03 Pam, you will recall that there is a marker for Rev. Joseph across US19 from the New Bethel Church. He is not buried there. Accordingly to Bill Cheuvront, [son of Rev Wesley Cheuvront], his dad showed him where there were unmarked graves for Rev. Joseph and some members of his family[s] on the side of a hill, pasture land, furthur down US19. He marked a map for me in 1986 and I remember seeing the recessed places in the ground from US19. To get there, continue down US19 from the Bethel Church and when you cross over West Fork River the highway curves to the right, at that point start looking at the open hillside for signs of recessed graves. Good luck!
