Hi Dot,
My 5th Great Grand parents were Phillip & Barbary Hinkle of Greenbrier Co., WV. I descend through their son Philip Jr b. 1783. I have Phillip's parents as Johann Nicklab Hinckel and Maria Elizabetha Schaffer. Johann's Niklab's parents were Johann Conrad Hinckel and Susanna Still. I have lots for this family as my mother was Phyllis Hinkle (a direct descendant)
