It would be a good idea to compile this sort of medical history in a place where everyone can access it. This information will probably become more important as time goes on. For example, everyone in my line of the family during the 1800s was very healthy and lived a very long life. (From what I can ascertain.) Conversely, their children died of cancer at a relatively young age during the 1950s and 1960s. Both generations lived similar lifestyles in the same location, e.g., farmers and generally rural people on the family properties in southern Kansas. My mother suspects that the deaths resulted from the commercial use of pesticides and other chemicals in the farming industry that began after WW II. One can't be sure, but this might indicate that these people were sensitive to such chemicals (DDT, etc). If true, this would be a good thing to be aware of.
