I have transcribed a "Journal of the War" diary
written by Jesse Cheuvront (Physician) during the civil war.
The diary also contained many pages of church records from
the area around Duck Creek. My wife's paternal grandmother
was Loyola Cheuvront, resided in Oxford, KS, and upon her
death at 93, the diary came into our possession allowing me
the months to transcribe the Civil War portion of the book.
I would be glad to share the information I have collected
with anyone who so desires.
