There is not a great deal written about Baoji on the web, most of it is about chemical processing plants and non-ferrous metal works, etc. Here however is a small offering of stuff that is slightly less tedious.

• "Tough life on the mean streets" - Another article about street children in Baoji taken from HKiMail. Nice photo (though it probably wasn't shot in Baoji), pity about the journalism. A good example of how the outside world can quite easily get the wool pulled over its eyes. Makes no mention of the complete collapse of an agreement between Ms. Shi and MSF, possibly because Ms. Shi was less interested in "the timid emergence of a civil society" and more interested in furthering her own aims.
