Breach will be released on October 10th, this Tuesday. The Wallflowers will be on Farmclub on USA on Monday the 9th. They will also be on SAturday Night Live this Saturday.

Interscope has officially said that the release date of the Wallflower's third album, "Breach", will be September 26th. The first single should be released sometime in August, it is entitled "Sleepwalker".

Reports of the Wallflowers performing at Rockfest 2000 turn out to be false. Also, in album news, Rami Jaffee has confirmed that the new album should be out around September.

From RollingStone.com: JAKOB DYLAN and the WALLFLOWERS will make their first live appearance since 1998 at the Hard Rock Cafe's Rock Fest in Chicago on July 21. The multi-band extravaganza will be held at the Chicago Motor Speedway and also feature METALLICA, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, KID ROCK, THIRD EYE BLIND and BARENAKED LADIES. The festival is expected to draw more than 130,000 fans.

According to Michael Ward's official homepage- www.michaelward.net-"The Wallflowers record is finished. A release date of sometime in May is on the books. Touring should begin in earnest in early June. See you all on the road." Be watching for more Wallflowers news, and tour dates!

               MTV News reports that the Wallflowers album "is due out this summer"! It will feature musicians such as Elvis Costello, former Pixies frontman Frank Black, Tom Petty guitarist Mike Campbell, and Jon Brion. Watch the Real Media here.

Sad news for the Zimmerman/Dylan family. It seems that Bob Dylan's mother, Beattie has passed away. Also, Joshua Clayton-Felt, one of Michael Ward's close friends, and fromer guitar player of School of Fish, died. My heart goes out to the family of these people.

Happy New Year, everyone! We've got more news on the new Wallflowers album. According to The Rami Lounge (Rami.Jaffee.com) Rami says that this month the Wallflowers will be mixing the songs. Hopefully we are looking at a spring release.

Sorry, I haven't updated news in awhile. Anyway, Mario did not tour with Smash Mouth.
And according to Rami.Jaffee.com: Rami said the band is still working hard in the studio and is almost finished. The Wallflowers new record should be released "sometime next year".

The rumor has been confirmed, Mario will be playing with Smash Mouth on their Lenny Kravitz leg of the tour, which begins around the end of August.

Not much news on the Wallflowers right now. We suspect that they are still working hard on their next album. But we do know that Mario has been spotted playing with Liz Phair at the Lilith Fair, and more recently with Smash Mouth.
