An unknown-legend, a hero, and possibly the best songwriter/producer in the business. His perfectionistic attitude towards writing/producing and his hard work are what have made him such a valuable asset to music If you listen to songs which he has produced/written you will begin to notice many similarities: 1) big drums 2)crisp, clean cymbals 3) beautiful melodies 4) Deep full bass 5) and last but not least "catchy" chorus lines. I first heard of him during Def Leppard's Hysteria era. I noticed his name mentioned as songwriter or producer of several songs or albums I picked up later or had previously owned. (Such as Pyromania" & "High 'N' Dry", Loverboy's "Lovin Every Minute Of It", Billy Ocean's "Loverboy", Heart's "All I Wanna Do...", AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" & "Back In Black", Bryan Adams' "Waking Up The Neighbours" and of course his work with Shania) I bought a l of these songs/albums without prior knowledge of him having contributed in one way or another. I soon realized he wasn't your average ordinary producer. Especially after reading Def Leppard's "Animal Instinct".
