WHATS WRONG WITH JOCKS?
There are certain traits that JOCKS have that make them one of the most obnoxious and vile species in society. Heres a few of them.
Overblown Obsession with Sports, Sports, and only Sports
The thing about jocks is that they put sports so much at the center of their lives that they cant recognize or accept anything else as being worth their time. Sports dominate everything for them. Arts, intellect, sensitivity, and spirituality are nothing. These things are put down by the jock.
People who do see things other than sports as important are ridiculed and belittled and made fun of. In extreme cases, theyre even abused. For the jock, sports has to be the center of their world, and anything that gets in the way of this, or is different from this, has got to be put down.
Overblown Obsession with Competitiveness
Jocks are obsessed with competition all the time. While a rational, decent athlete can put competition in its proper perspective, the JOCK cant stop his obsession with seeing everything as win or lose. They take their obsession with always being dominant outside of sports to everything they do in life, and if a person doesnt measure up to their overcompetitive standards, they get stepped on. JOCKS dont know how to value people as human beings, only as opponents to be defeated or as objects to be used.
Glorification of violence and domination
JOCKS glorify being macho, violent, and dominant. Of course, sports are sometimes violent, and competitive, and agressive. But to the JOCK, agression doesnt just stop on the feild, or in the ring, or on the mat. JOCKS have to be competitive, agressive, obnoxious, abusive, and obsessive with dominance wherever they are. They sometimes step on people who they see as weak and unaggressive. There are many incidents of JOCKS abusing others in schools and college campuses around the country.
