We hold a "pigfight" the day after each Repent. These pigs, black mostly, are released into a closed pen where they attack each other, brutally and often to the death. I saw one taking a short rest from the fighting. One leg had a long gash that revealed muscle and bone and the skin on its belly was torn and flapping about loosely. It was panting heavily but it didn't seem to be in any pain. Adrenaline was probably the only thing keeping it on its legs. I tipped off the Humane Society. - - - - I'm
in B's pad and B, M and T just came back from a party. I didn't understand
why T was with them given their history, but they seemed to be friends
now. I went to inspect the kitchen to see if it was true that B was even
more of a neat freak than me. T and M were there, bonding, piercing their
noses and ears using a home piercing kit.
