Worst Case Scenario Books Becomes TV Show

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Have you ever read those Worst Case Scenario survival handbooks that show how to survive rough situations like parachute failures or sinking cars? Well, now the books are being turned into a TV show called Worst Case Scenario, with demonstrations performed by stunt actors and video footage of people surviving real worst case scenarios. Appropriately enough, the show’s host Mike Rowe, a former Boy Scout, is a true life survivor himself. He says back when he was 17 he and a friend got lost in the Appalachians and had to survive in the freezing snow on two granola bars and half a canteen of water for 36 hours before they were found. Rowe credits his Scout training with saving his life, and says the TV show is dedicated to those same skills that saved him. Worst Case Scenario will premiere on TBS on July 10.
